Parts Of The Flower - By Giselle
Learning Intention: we are learning about the parts of flowers.
Success Criteria: I am successful when I can draw a flower and label its parts and write their functions.
The functions of the parts of a flower
Petals- Bright colours to attract the bees and butterfly to pollinate.
Anther -A sac like structure that contains pollens.
Filament- Holds the anther up.
Receptacle- Supports all the parts of the flower.
Stigma -The part of the female flower that can catch pollen.
Style- Holds up the stigma.
Sepal The sepal protects the flower.
Ovary- Contains the ovules or the pollinated pollens.
